Natalia Mathis, LMFT
Natalia Mathis is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who obtained her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. With over seven years of experience working in behavioral health and over six years of experience working in mental health, Natalia has accrued a wide range of knowledge, behavioral techniques, and counseling experience. Natalia’s clinical experience includes working at a Domestic Violence Center and shelter, an inpatient psychiatric facility with clients who have severe mental illness and psychosis, school-based counseling, and three and a half years of field-based work in Los Angeles with an FSP program.
Natalia has provided therapy, case management, and school-based and family systems support to children and TAY age groups experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, conduct issues, developmental delays, ADHD/ADD, personality disorders, and more. Natalia utilizes several theoretical orientations including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy and has provided therapeutic support in the forms of individual, group, couples, and family sessions, initial assessments, and crisis support.
As the Program Director for Bridges Full Service Partnership (FSP) Adult Program, Natalia oversees the supervision of a team of clinical and non-clinical staff and the day-to-day operations of this program to assist the agency in servicing SPA2 clients in their mental health needs. Natalia is thrilled to be part of the Bridges team and its positive contributions in community based services. Natalia has supervisory experience overseeing the day-to-day operations FSP. In this capacity she provides clinical, administrative and program oversight for clinical and non-clinical staff.
