Programs & Services

We offer a wide range of programs and services to meet the needs of those affected by mental illness.  Services offered to individuals and families depend on many factors, such as individual needs, age, and achievements desired.

We provide outpatient and residential care and treatment.  For children, transitional age youth, young adults and adults who may not have serious emotional or mental health disorders, but could likely benefit from assistance with mental health services, we are able to tailor a program of prevention and early intervention services for you. For those with serious mental health disorders struggling with managing symptoms of their condition and/or require intervention and assistance to help build resilience and coping skills, increase self-esteem, identify and address traumas, and ultimately build upon their individual strengths to achieve recovery and well-being, BRIDGES offers comprehensive specialty mental health services and residential programs.

We help each individual and their families by providing programs, information and resources to assist in their journey. We also help by raising awareness through public outreach and warm engagement opportunities.

  • Prevention in mental health involves building protective factors and skills, increasing support, and reducing risk factors. Early Intervention addresses a condition early in its manifestation in order to improve mental health outcomes.

  • BRIDGES outpatient care often involves one or more mental health services that do not require a long term stay in a facility. Our outpatient team can help you learn to cope with stressors, manage your mental health challenges, provide you with support and services that help you build on your strengths and help you grow, work with you to help you identify and address trauma, and develop your ability to live as independently as possible and meet your desired goals. Further, we can address specific issues such as marital or financial problems, conflict between family members, or the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on the entire family. The program is designed to support clients as they take steps towards independence.

  • BRIDGES Adult Full-Service Partnership program is an intensive adult program designed for adults ages 26-59 who have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness and have been hospitalized, in jail, and/or on the streets. The program provides the services necessary to help individuals with this level of acute illness live successfully in the community. The foundation of the FSP program is doing “whatever it takes” to help individuals on their journey to recovery and well-being. Services are delivered by a team of professional staff in collaboration with each individual client, the team, and their families or other support people in their lives. Each clients’ services vary based on individual needs. There is a low staff to client ratio in this program, along with 24/7 crisis response as needed.

  • BRIDGES' residential programs, Casitas Tranquilas and Esperanza focus on fostering independent living skills, developing the ability thrive in the community, and increasing resilience, and overall improving mental health and well-being. Each program provides a structured and staff supervised setting with an emphasis on social rehabilitation and restoring independence. Programs specialize in the treatment of mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
With a focus on life skills training, linkage and community engagement, BRIDGES’ Adult Residential Programs serve adults in community-based residential settings. Clients benefit from extensive life skills training, counseling, therapy, case management, social and coping skills development, and assistance with medication management.
Each program is licensed by the Department of Social Services as a Social Rehabilitation Facility, and certified by the Department of Health Care Services for Long Term Care. Each program’s length of stay provides for a possible 18 months, however the maximum time allowable depends on the needs as identified in an initial assessment and ongoing case reviews, as well as each client’s participation, and an 18-month stay is not guaranteed. Often clients complete the program and/or transition to another setting suitable to their needs in much less than 18 months.
